How Our Charlotte Coffee Roastery Teamed Up with Bee & Bean to Fight Cancer

VAROSH Coffee Roasters partnered with the Bee & Bean, a local mobile coffee cart, to host a cancer fundraiser within the Charlotte community. The turnout, the energy, and the generosity reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

People from around Charlotte showed up. They stayed. They bought coffee, shared stories, and gave more than we ever expected. And a whole lot of good got done because of it.

Here's the story of the day, and why coffee and community are better together.

The Cause Behind our Charlotte Cancer Fundraiser

Jeff, the founder of Bee & Bean, reached out to us about organizing this event because the St. Clairs are close family friends of his and right now, they're walking one of the hardest roads a family can face. Their father has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

When Jeff brought the idea to us, we were happy to support the cause. Using our roastery, and our deep belief that coffee has the power to gather people, we joined together for a weekend. All proceeds from every cup of coffee and bag of freshly roasted VAROSH coffee beans sold went directly to the St. Clair family in their time of need.

Meet Bee & Bean: Charlotte's Coffee Cart bringing warmth to every event

If you haven't encountered Bee and Bean at an event around the Charlotte area yet, allow us to make the introduction, because they are exactly the kind of small business that we love working with.

Jeff founded Bee and Bean in 2024, and it's been a family affair from day one. Together with his family, they load up their coffee cart and bring beautifully crafted drinks to community events, wedding venues, clubhouses, and businesses all across the greater Charlotte area, including right here in Indian Trail and Monroe. Lattes, cold brews, americanos are made with care and served with a warmth that turns first-time customers into regulars.

We first connected with Jeff in 2026 when he came to us about coffee equipment services. What started as a professional conversation quickly grew into something more: a shared obsession with great coffee and an even deeper shared belief that coffee is a vehicle for community.

If you're planning an event in the Charlotte area:  a corporate gathering, a wedding, a neighborhood pop-up, Bee and Bean should be your on your list. Follow them on Instagram at @bee__and__bean to see where they're popping up next

The Day in Pictures: Two Companies Sharing Joy & Coffee for a Cause

Doors opened at 9am, and from that first hour to the very last pour, the energy never dropped.

Regulars from Indian Trail brought friends who'd never visited the roastery before. Families came in with little ones. People from Monroe, Charlotte, and the surrounding area made the drive out to Post Office Drive because word had spread, and that word-of-mouth meant everything to us.

We made sure every single person who walked through the door felt welcomed. We're proud of what our community built together in just a few hours.

How your cup of coffee made a real difference in Charlotte, NC

There's really only one thing left to say, and we want to say it properly:

Thank you.

Thank you to every person who came out to support the St. Clair family, whether you bought a coffee, grabbed a bag of beans, made a cash donation, or simply showed up.

Thank you to Jeff and the entire Bee and Bean family for giving your Saturday to this cause, and for trusting us to be your partners in it. You could have called anyone. We're glad you called us.

Thank you to our volunteers who helped run the day smoothly, and to everyone who shared the event on social media and helped bring more people through the door.

Grateful to have been able to support The St. Clair family, and we hope for the best.

Spreading Good Through Our Coffee Roastery

We started our Charlotte coffee roastery because we believed great coffee has the power to bring people together, and allow us to spread good throughout the community. Last weekend proved that in the most moving way possible.

If you're a Charlotte nonprofit, community organization, or local cause that would love to partner on a future event, please reach out. We would genuinely love to talk.
